Prospective Students:

Virginia Tech provides a great environment for students in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. It has strong academic programs in both fields. The Electrical Engineering program ranks 16, and the Computer Engineering program ranks 20 in the nation according USNews 2022. In particular, there are many fascinating topics explored in Wireless@Virginia Tech. You may learn more about my own research interests by looking at my website, or by reading previously published papers.

For upcoming semesters, I am always looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students who are willing to help me identify answers to the challenges faced by future wireless communication systems/networks. In my view, Ph.D. students are equivalent to research partners. I hope I could help my research partners to achieve their career goals with my expertise and experience in wireless communications. Furthermore, I will encourage and help my research partners to obtain internship experience in leading telecommunication companies through my industrial collaborations.
