Updating Java by accessing the automatic update feature:

• Click Start->Control Panel.
  • Note: Make sure in the top left View by: is on the Small icons tab.

• Double-click the Java icon and the Java Control Panel will appear.

• Click the Update tab.

• To facilitate Java Updates to automatically check for updates, select the Check for Updates Automatically check box.

Manual Update Feature:

• You can manually check for updates in the Update tab using the Update Now button.
