Mathematica

How to use mathematica on cvl Mathematica runs on cvlws[01-06] machines. You will need to log in to any of these working stations to use Mathematica. Follow these steps to run and activate the software.

1. Log in to any work station by typing the following command.

   ssh -X ECEUSERNAME@cvlws[01-06].ece.vt.edu

2. Once logged in, type

   mathematica

3. A product activation page will open up. Select Other ways to activate at the bottom left part of the screen.
4. Select Connect to a network license server
5. Enter this address : willow.ece.vt.edu
6. Accept the terms of agreement and click OK
