Windows
- Open Windows Explorer (Start -> Computer)
- Select Map network drive... in the toolbar OR right-click Computer and select Map network drive...
- In the Folder box, type: \\filebox.ece.vt.edu\mainoffice
- Check both Reconnect at logon and Connect using different credentials
- Enter your ECE user/pass*
- Check Remember my credentials if you do not want to be prompted in the future
OS X
- Open Finder
- In the menubar, open the Go menu and select Connect to Server...
- In the Server Address box, type: smb://filebox.ece.vt.edu/mainoffice
- Click the + symbol to the right of the box to add this address to the list
- Click Connect
- Enter your ECE user/pass*
- You may change your ECE account password here: https://computing.ece.vt.edu/accounts/
