The CVL has a wide format document printer. The printer is an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 Professional Edition, a 44" wide photo-ready printer.

For example we can print:

  • Posters
  • CAD drawings
  • Banners
  • Photographs

Formatting

  • We have 2 paper sizes: 36" and 44"
  • The only paper type is Photo Glossy.
  • We ask that all posters be sent to us as a PDF file, which will help ensure print quality.
Why do all poster need to be submitted in PDF format?
  1. Powerpoint files may not always print as seen on file, whereas PDF files print exactly as seen on file.
  2. PDF files are smaller than Powerpoint files, thus allowing faster and quicker transfer.

Great! How do I use it?

In order to print something on the plotter you need to contact one of the IT support people:
John Harris
Branden McKagen

They will setup a time to get the job printed out and help you with formatting to insure you have a quality project printed.
