The CVL has a wide format document printer. The printer is an Epson Pro 8200 Professional, a 44" wide photo-ready printer.

Great! How much does this cost? We are basically trying to recover our cost of the consumables for printing. Currently we are estimating $1.00/sq.ft. Thus a typical a typical poster size print of 34"x44" (ANSI E size) would be a little over $10. For photo printing, we are charging $2.00/sq.ft.

The cost of printing must be charged to an overhead account, this tends to limit printing to faculty use only. A faculty member may pay for student's prints if they so choose.
