[edit] Compute Cluster available in ECE

There are two compute cluster available for general use by all faculty and students in ECE.

The ECE Cluster (CVL Cluster):

16 nodes: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz CPUs, 8 GBytes RAM, 1 Gbit/sec ethernet

Total CPUs (cores): 16 x 2 = 32

The Beast Cluster is a Dell blade server:

32 nodes: 2x Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2350 2GHz, 20 GBytes RAM, 1 Gbit/sec ethernet

Total CPUs (cores): 32 x 2 x 4 = 256
