[edit] Updating Java
- Click Start -> Control Panel -> Java
- Open the Update tab
- Verify the "Check for Updates Automatically" box is selected
- Click the Update Now button
Verify your Java is properly updated using this link: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
[edit] Updating Adobe Acrobat (Reader/Pro)
- Open Adobe Acrobat
- Select the Help menu
- Click Check for Updates now
- Step 3 might have to be repeated after updates are installed
- Both Reader and Pro need to be updated separately
