  1. Click Start -> Control Panel -> Java
  2. Open the Update tab
  3. Verify the "Check for Updates Automatically" box is selected
  4. Click the Update Now button

[edit] Updating Adobe Acrobat (Reader/Pro)

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat
  2. Select the Help menu
  3. Click Check for Updates now
  4. Step 3 might have to be repeated after updates are installed
    • Both Reader and Pro need to be updated separately
