About Me

I recently finished my Ph.D. in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. I was advised by Dr. Kevin Kochersberger and co-advised by Dr. Dhruv Batra . My primary research interest is in providing perception capabilities to autonomous unmanned systems.

I attended West Virginia University on a full-tuition scholarship, where I received a B.S. in Computer Engineering in May 2011. In May 2013 I received my M.S. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, where my thesis focused on computer vision applications for quarries. Over the summer of 2016 I was a visiting researcher at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD.
