How to check Java version:
Updating Java by accessing the automatic update feature:
- Click Start->Control Panel.
- Double-click the Java icon and the Java Control Panel will appear.
- Click the Update tab.
- To facilitate Java Updates to automatically check for updates, select the Check for Updates Automatically check box.
Manual Update Feature:
- You can manually check for updates in the Update tab using the Update Now button.
How to install Java:
Note: We only recommend installing Java if it is required for a website or program.
