How to check Java version:

Updating Java by accessing the automatic update feature:

Click Start->Control Panel.
- Note: Make sure in the top left View by: is on the Small icons tab.

To facilitate Java Updates to automatically check for updates, select the Check for Updates Automatically check box.

Manual Update Feature:

You can manually check for updates in the Update tab using the Update Now button.
