OS X Installation

Download and install the following packages from this link: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosxpxlmono Foomatic-RIP pxlmono Ghostscript

Open Terminal and enter the following commands:

   gunzip /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/Ricoh-Aficio_MP_7500-pxlmono-Ricoh.ppd.gz

   open -a TextEdit /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/Ricoh-Aficio_MP_7500-pxlmono-Ricoh.ppd

Search for "1003" and replace all with your Ricoh Printer UserCode. (see pic ricoh_OSX_usercode.png) Save the file, and run the following command in terminal

   gzip /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/Ricoh-Aficio_MP_7500-pxlmono-Ricoh.ppd

Open System Preferences -> Print & Scan Add a new Printer (+ symbol on left side) Select the IP tab and enter the following settings

   Address: 128.173.88.178
   Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD
   Name: Ricoh Main Office
   Use: RICOH Aficio MP 7500 PXL
