Unfortuntatly this is because cost must be charged to an "overhead" account, this tends printer is limited to faculty use only.  A faculty member may pay for students prints if they choose to.

Great! How much does this cost? We are basically trying to recover our cost of the consumables for printing. Currently we are estimating $1.00/sq.ft. Thus a typical a typical poster size print of 34"x44" (ANSI E size) would be a little over $10. For photo printing, we are charging $2.00/sq.ft.

The cost of printing must be charged to an "overhead" account, this tends printer is limited to faculty use only. A faculty member may pay for students prints if they choose to.
